Video loop and 900 lb melting ice sculpture
Ocean landscapes alternate with mountain glaciers in a video loop that meditates on the transformation and redistribution of water - an issue at the core of climate change. The video is paired with a staged melting event in which three 300-pound blocks of ice slowly turn to water. The water then reflects and doubles the video.
