Albedo Clouds on Little West 12th, 2007

Public art installation consisting of clouds made from 550 white shirts. Dimensions vary according to site. For this installation we used fashion materials in a fashion environment – the Meat-Packing District, New York City. One cloud was 280 shirts (280 is the measure of carbon parts per million prior to the Industrial Revolution) and the other cloud was 270 shirts (the amount of carbon parts per million we are projected to add to the atmosphere by 2050).
